Name for Baby Boy #3

We have finally decided on a name for baby #3 so now we can call him by name instead of Baby #3! It took Robbie and I a little while to decide, although we've been working on it since before we knew he was a boy. We just couldn't seem to come up with anything we both really loved. So, one night Robbie looked up names on the internet and we wrote down a few possibilites. It was between 2 in the end and we chose:

Greyson Kahrs Hardy

Greyson, of course, is a name we like just like Tyler and Scott were. Kahrs is Robbie's mom's maiden name just like Scott has my mom's maiden name as his middle name. With all of the boys we have used a name we like as well as a family name.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, it's official....I am the only girl in my house!! We are expecting baby BOY #3! Can you believe it?! It's starting to sink in a little more and yes we are very excited! He is healthy and growing, which is the most important part! For all of you who were hoping I would have a girl, well I guess God has something else in mind! His plan is perfect and I can't argue with that! He knows just what we need and obiviously it includes 3 boys!
I can't wait to be the mom of 3 boys! The two I have now are wonderful and they love their mama (and they tell me "I love you" at least 6 times a day)! :) So, what more could I ask for! Robbie is very excited and is looking forward to having his own football, baseball, basketball, etc. team! Here are some pictures from the ultrasound!! We haven't totally decided on his name yet but will let you know when we do!! Merry Christmas!!!
Oh yea, some cute comments from the boys:

Tyler: If Mama has another baby, I hope it's a girl! (Well, sorry buddy not sure that will happen!)

Scott: I'm going to tell him he looks like a monster! (The boys went to the ultrasound with us so I guess Scott thought he looked like a monster)

Scott: I love my baby brother

Tyler: I like it better when they are 1 or 2 (years old)

Tyler: It's going to be a Clemson Tiger because Mama said it was.

Gearing up for Christmas!

I can't believe that Christmas is less than 15 days away! Wow, it is flying by already! I also can't belive that we find out what we are having in 13 days! I can't wait! I've been feeling pretty good but still pretty exhausted by the end of the day!

The boys are really excited about Christmas and it's been a lot of fun with them. It's sad now that Tyler is in public school he doesn't hear about the true meaning of Christmas like he did in preschool. I make sure to talk about it at home and get him excited about celebrating Jesus birthday. He asked me today how old Jesus would be! :) It's great that Scott is still able to learn about Jesus in school and he loves pointing out manger scenes when he sees them in stores. Both of the boys love playing with their Fisher Price manger scene as well as mine.

Here are a few pictures to share from the end of November into early December. As you can see (for those of you who don't get to be around him) Scott is quite a character! The pictures just don't do justice! He is a hoot!!

Clemson Homecoming and a few other things from November

Well, it seems I haven't updated in several weeks...time has been almost non exsistent for updating my blog or checking other people's blogs lately! But, this week has slowed down so I'm back to it! On November 15 we traveled up to Clemson for Homecoming. We had a great time and the weather turned out to be beautiful! The boys had a blast. Our seats were on the first row right behind the Clemson players so there was a lot of action to keep them interested. Of course Robbie would have prefered to be a little higher so he could actually see the game but thankfully he could see the big screen! Here are few pictures we took:

I have to share these cute pictures, too! One afternoon Scott and I went to Tyler's classroom for something they were doing and we left a little early before the bell rang. The boys were so cute walking down the hall together!

Fall fun in the leaves especially with Amanda, whom the boys adore:

12 weeks and counting....

Hi everyone! Just a little update....I've reached the 12 week mark and was able to hear the heart beat on Wednesday when I went for my doctor's appt. It was loud and strong at 155! I have my ultrasound scheduled for December 23rd and can't wait!!! It will be so fun to find out right before Christmas especially while Andy and his family are in town! I'm feeling better these days although I do have an occassional day (usually one or two days a week) where I throw up one time. But, I don't have any nausea which is much better! I'm hungry ALL the time and eat ALL the time!

The boys are doing well and loving school! Tyler told me just the other day that he wished he could go to school everyday! He is starting to read so well. I'm so proud of him. It seems like he is reading a new word everyday. He read a book he got from the library the other day and I was so impressed with some of the words he knew. Kindergarten is just amazing and he has blossmed so much! Scott still likes to clinge to me when I drop him off at school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but by the time I walk around to the car and can peak in the window on my way out he is completely fine. He is starting to tell me more and more about his day which is fun to hear!

We are excited that Robbie's football season is VERY close to the end. The end is definitely in sight and boy will I be glad, and he will too! :) We have a lot of projects around the house planned while he has a couple of months off before baseball starts. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know and I can't wait!!! I just love this time of year!

Win a Wii

My friend, Mary Ann Shrum, adopted 2 beautiful girls from Guatamala that are a definite God send. For anyone who knows much about adoptions, they are very expensive. Mary Ann and her family are still trying to pay off these adoptions and one creative way is through a raffle to win a Wii!!! So, check out her blog and enter to win one for your family! Her blog address is: http://theshrumfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/
Thank you!!!

The BIG 3-0

Well, I am officially in my 30's as of yesterday! It really doesn't feel any different, so I guess that's a good thing! We had a fun weekend of celebrating. Robbie and my parents had a party for me on Saturday night at my parent's house with family and friends. They were going to make it a surprise but decided to include me in on the plans! We had a lot of fun and missed so many of you that couldn't make it! My mom had a sweet video put together for me of my last 30 years that we watched that night. On Sunday we had a cookout to celebrate mine and my sister's birthday (her's was Oct 23) with family. Once again we had a great time! My mom worked extra hard this past weekend to make it extra special for me (and for Katie)! She is the best!!! Here are some pictures from the festivities on Saturday!

Scott is 3!!!

Today is Scott's 3rd birthday! Boy how time flies! He woke up early this morning very excited. I made our traditional birthday pancakes that we have whenver it is one of our birthdays (my mom started this tradition with us). We put a #3 candle in it and sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Then he had a present from us to open and a present from his favorite cousin, Anna! He loved them both! Robbie took the day off to spend time with Scott. They have headed off to the zoo and who knows where else! :) Scott was thrilled!!

Scott has brought so much joy to our lives. He is a interesting little boy with lots of different traits that make him that way! He makes us laugh all the time with his funny faces and silly gestures. One my most favorite things that Scott does right now is out of the clear blue he says "I love you" and gives us a great big kiss! Oh so sweet!! I remember Tyler doing that same thing at that age!

Scott is an active little thing who loves to run, play ball, ride his scooter, tackle Tyler, wrestle with Robbie, play with dinosaurs and cars and trucks, and chew on his "fluffy". Fluffy is his beloved blanket that he can't seem to part with...see the picture below! This entire year has brought about lots of changes and firsts for Scott. He moved to a big boy bed, he was finally potty trained at 2 1/2, he started preschool for the first time in August, he was in his first wedding this past summer, he went to his first Braves game, and last but certainly not least he has gained a big will and a way about him! :) He is a red head none the less and boy is it true that red heads can have tempers! The closer he's gotten to three the more he has let that shine through! But, thankfully he is excellent at school and at church for his teachers! Oh yea, he is going to be featured in a Red Head book that a lady in California has written. It's a children's book and it should come out in the next month or so. We can't wait to see it!!

Now check out some recent pictures of my little buddy!!

Picture of "Peanut"

Thank you so much to all of you have emailed us or left messages on our blog! We really appreciate everyone's excitement and prayers! You are all such a blessing! I wanted to show you the ultrasound picture we got on Tuesday! It's amazing that that is a baby! Tyler has been so cute with his questions. He held the ultrasound picture up to my stomach last night and said is the baby right there? Then he started wandering what the baby was doing inside of me...was he eating or moving? He got so tickled when I started talking about how as the baby grows he/she will start kicking and hitting me! He thought that was hilarious! He is at a fun age where he is so interested in this process and will hopefully remember this pregnancy more than mine with Scott!

Something to share

Hey everyone! Well, it's official! We have started a Hardy blog! I will do my best to update every so often. Our first entry is to let you know something!! Look below at the what the boys have to share with you..............

Number 3 is officially on his/her way!!!!!! I'm 7 1/2 weeks along and due May 17. I had an ultrasound this morning and Robbie and I saw our little peanut! I just told the boys this afternoon when Tyler got home from school. They had a few questions and of course Tyler was more interested than Scott at this point! Please pray for our little one growing inside of me that he/she will grow and be healthy. We are excited and look forward to a life of 5....as Robbie says we are going from Man to Man Defense to Zone Defense! Everything relates to sports around here but a pretty creative way to put it! :)
