Who's Ready for Spring??

I know I sure am ready for Spring! I hate to wish this next month away, but it has been far too much of a sick winter for us and I'm ready for warm weather and sick germs to leave!!! Tyler tested positive for the flu on Friday, although I have to say this has been the mildest case of the flu I've ever seen! He only had fever 3times and it never got above 101.7. I contribute that to him having the flu shot and keeping him from having it worse!

Well, as hard as I tried to keep him away from Scott, washing everyone's hands, etc, etc, Scott started with the fever Saturday night. Hopefully his will be as short lived as Tyler's was since he also had the flu shot. I am praying (and would love for you to say a prayer too!) that I don't get it! The boys are taking Tamiflu but if I get the flu I will definitely not take it since I'm pregnant. No one is sure if it's safe for pregnant women or not so I will just opt not to take it!

All in all if you had been around the boys any over the last few days you would have never guessed they had the flu! I wanted to post a video of them acting crazy, but it keeps taking way too long to load so I'll just post this picture that shows just how silly the boys still were despite their diagnosis!

Greyson is growing!!

I can definitely tell just within the last few weeks that my belly is really growing!
This is me on December 29 at 20 weeks:

And this is me just 3 nights ago at 26 weeks:

I can't believe I'm 26 weeks and only have 10-14 week left!! Wow! Time is flying and I still feel like I have a million things to do to be "ready." The boys are excited and talk about him every now and then. I'm sure in their eyes it seems like an eternity before he arrives. Tyler loves to kiss my belly....so sweet!!

Savannah

Robbie and I went on a little one night getaway to Savannah this past Saturday and Sunday before baseball season and Greyson arrive! We were only there 24 hours but it was great to get away just the 2 of us...very refreshing!! We had never been to Savannah before, and we loved it! It is a really neat place with so much to do. When we got there on Saturday we went to this place recommended to us called B & D Burgers. They had every type of burger you could imagine and it was SO good!! Then we walked up and down a main street downtown and went in some shops. We stayed at a little Bed and Breakfast that was ok but we probably wouldn't stay there again. It was neat just to experience the whole "bed and breakfast" thing since we hadn't done that before. We ate at a fabulous restaurant on Saturday night called Vics on the River. I had shrimp and grits and it was AWESOME! Robbie had shrimp and oysters. It was a beautiful restaurant that overlooked the river. Next time we go, we want to stay somewhere at the river because it was a beautiful view! Here are some pictures from our little trip!

We took this one of ourselves at dinner :)

Our Christmas

Well, I'm almost a month behind on sharing Christmas pictures but better late than never, huh?! We had a wonderful Christmas as I know so many of you did. Having Robbie and Tyler out of school for 2 whole weeks was the best part! We had a great time together and were productive with some things around the house at the same time. My brother and his family were here for a whole week leading up to Christmas and that was great! My niece, Anna, and the boys had a blast together. They hugged each other every time they saw each other and Anna was so cute running around calling "Ty Ty" and "Scottie Boo" (she picked up on Scott's name because that's what my mom calls him). We went to see the Lights at Saluda Shoals, to Build a Bear, we made a gingerbread house, had a party for Jesus and played and played. We wish we got to see them more often than we do but are thankful for the times we do!

On Christmas Day Robbie and I woke up before the boys did and were ready to get them up! I guess they aren't at the age yet where they wake up at the crack of dawn! So, we started making some noise so they would wake up! Once they did and realized Santa had come they were wide awake! They loved everything they got and were so excited. After Santa, we went over to Mimi and Pop's house for Christmas breakfast and presents. Scott showed up dressed in his new Ninja Turtle costume and Anna wasn't too sure about it! We had a yummy breakfast and tons of gifts to open! We ate breakfast, then read the Christmas story and then opened presents. After our time there, we went back home and Robbie's family came over. Robbie fried a delicious turkey and everyone brought a dish to share. It was fun! It was a very relaxing, fun day with no stress and that was wonderful!

The day after Christmas Robbie was really motivated and painted the boys new bedroom. They are going to share a room (Scott's room) and Greyson will take Tyler's old room. They weren't ready to move to an upstairs bedroom just yet so they are going to share for now. It is going really well and I'm glad we are all still downstairs. We got their new quilts and set up their airplane room all that day! It looks great although, I'm still looking for window treatments and letters to put their names above their beds. A few days later Robbie then painted Greyson new room, set up the crib and put arranged all of the furniture! It looks great, too. I'm still looking for some things to put on the walls but we have time! :) It's such a good feeling to have all the big stuff like painting out of the way. We knew Robbie had to do it when he did because baseball season starts Feb. 2 (although they are doing some stuff afterschool throughout January). I still have boxes of clothes to go through as well. I will post pictures of their rooms once I get them fully complete!

Here are some pictures from our Christmas!

Name for Baby Boy #3

We have finally decided on a name for baby #3 so now we can call him by name instead of Baby #3! It took Robbie and I a little while to decide, although we've been working on it since before we knew he was a boy. We just couldn't seem to come up with anything we both really loved. So, one night Robbie looked up names on the internet and we wrote down a few possibilites. It was between 2 in the end and we chose:

Greyson Kahrs Hardy

Greyson, of course, is a name we like just like Tyler and Scott were. Kahrs is Robbie's mom's maiden name just like Scott has my mom's maiden name as his middle name. With all of the boys we have used a name we like as well as a family name.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, it's official....I am the only girl in my house!! We are expecting baby BOY #3! Can you believe it?! It's starting to sink in a little more and yes we are very excited! He is healthy and growing, which is the most important part! For all of you who were hoping I would have a girl, well I guess God has something else in mind! His plan is perfect and I can't argue with that! He knows just what we need and obiviously it includes 3 boys!
I can't wait to be the mom of 3 boys! The two I have now are wonderful and they love their mama (and they tell me "I love you" at least 6 times a day)! :) So, what more could I ask for! Robbie is very excited and is looking forward to having his own football, baseball, basketball, etc. team! Here are some pictures from the ultrasound!! We haven't totally decided on his name yet but will let you know when we do!! Merry Christmas!!!
Oh yea, some cute comments from the boys:

Tyler: If Mama has another baby, I hope it's a girl! (Well, sorry buddy not sure that will happen!)

Scott: I'm going to tell him he looks like a monster! (The boys went to the ultrasound with us so I guess Scott thought he looked like a monster)

Scott: I love my baby brother

Tyler: I like it better when they are 1 or 2 (years old)

Tyler: It's going to be a Clemson Tiger because Mama said it was.

Gearing up for Christmas!

I can't believe that Christmas is less than 15 days away! Wow, it is flying by already! I also can't belive that we find out what we are having in 13 days! I can't wait! I've been feeling pretty good but still pretty exhausted by the end of the day!

The boys are really excited about Christmas and it's been a lot of fun with them. It's sad now that Tyler is in public school he doesn't hear about the true meaning of Christmas like he did in preschool. I make sure to talk about it at home and get him excited about celebrating Jesus birthday. He asked me today how old Jesus would be! :) It's great that Scott is still able to learn about Jesus in school and he loves pointing out manger scenes when he sees them in stores. Both of the boys love playing with their Fisher Price manger scene as well as mine.

Here are a few pictures to share from the end of November into early December. As you can see (for those of you who don't get to be around him) Scott is quite a character! The pictures just don't do justice! He is a hoot!!
