Scott turned 4 years old on Saturday! Wow, it's hard to believe he is already 4. It seems like yesterday I was pregnant with him and that he was just born. As I think back to that pregnancy and the day he was born, it was all so up in the air. He tricked us several times into thinking he was coming and finally arrived at 36 weeks 5 days at a whopping 5lbs 15oz. He was a firecracker then with that little bit of red hair gleaming and he still is a ball of fun with some strong will thrown in there! His unpredictable personality keeps life interesting. We never really know what's going through that little head of his. He will impress us sometimes with some very smart insights and other times he will say something to make us roll with laughter. He loves super heroes, cars, trucks, balls, and well just about anything boy!! He can act shy or be the life of the party. Scott is sandwiched in between 2 brothers that he adores and he fits the role of a middle child quite well! We love our little red head and had a blast celebrating 4 years with him on Saturday. He had a pirate theme party at a local park. It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect! The children went on a treasure hunt and went digging for "gold". Here are a few pictures to share.

Happy birthday, sweet Scott! Andy and I remember well the day you were born because we were in Chicago and had just finished running the marathon. We were screaming on our tour boat because we were so happy you had entered the world. We love you!
