While Scott and I were away, I snuck Bear some money and asked Mr. Ernie to
help him rebuild our ramp to the shed. It was falling apart. So this was

May 2012
May began with Greyson turning THREE on May 7 (his party on May 5)! He wanted a soccer party. We had his party in Mimi and Pop's backyard and couldn't have asked for a prettier day! At the age of three, Greyson is Mr. Independent. He thinks he's bigger and older than he really is which comes along with being the 3rd child. He has lots of sweet friends and they all came to help him celebrate!
Cinco de Miyo fun at San Jose:
The birthday boy! Oh how he melts my heart! I wish he would stop growing up so fast!
I love to make my boys birthdays feel extra special. Robbie usually takes the day off on their birthday to take them on a special outing, eat lunch with them at school(for the older 2 that is), etc. We start our morning with pancakes (something my mom always did for us) and usually end with a dinner out to their favorite restaurant. Here is how we spent Greyson's big day...pancakes, Build a Bear, carousal at the mall, Chickfila lunch and Zorbas for supper!
Scott's class did a Mother's Day Tea and it was so sweet!
Tyler got player of the game for basketball:
The boys were so sweet on Mother's Day! They put up balloons and streamers and got me some great gifts....running clothes! :)
More great Mother's Day pictures:
The boys school had a really fun Spring Festival:
Robbie and I celebrated 12 years of marriage on May 27! These are some pretty flowers I received! :)

Well, hello! I'd say 9 months from posting is a long time! A lot has happened and we've been through a whole summer, fall and now we are into winter! Greyson, Scott and I have all turned a whole year older and Robbie and Tyler are getting closer to that mark! Also within this time, I've run another half marathon, we spent a week at the beach, another school year started, Greyson entered his first year of preschool, Tyler made the biggest decision of his life, we surprised the boys with a trip to Disney World, and the boys ended 2012 with the flu! Of course a lot has happened in between, but those are the big events that have taken place. The pictures below will tell the stories as I go!

Palmetto Half Maraton: This was my 2nd half marathon and it was right here in town. It was a great race and I had a really good time of 2:07:38, but it was a mentally tough race for me. I learned a lot about myself as a runner after that race. I enjoyed every bit of the training my dear friends and I did, but there was just something about the race that made me want it to be over the moment we started! I ran alongside 2 great friends, Jennifer and Robin, which helped so much. But, I discovered, after some analyzing afterwards, that I'm not one of these girls who can just up and run a course that I have no idea where it's taking me. When we train and do long routes, I always know the route we are taking. About half way through this race, I saw all these runners who had made the loop and were headed back towards where we had started, but it frustrated me that I had no idea when we were to turn around and where we were going to turn around. It sounds crazy, but that's much like my personality. I'm a big planner, it's something I love, and when I'm not sure where road ahead leads, I get anxious and can't get it off my mind. My awesome dad is actually the one who pointed this out to me and helped me get past this mental hurdle I had reached after this race. Needless to say, I'm registered to run this half marathon again so that I can mentally (and physically) love it this time! Here are the wonderful friends I ran with: Me, Jennifer, Erin, Robin and Rebecca
After the race, we drove to Clemson for their Spring game. This was the first time we had ever been to the Spring game. It was super hot and the boys weren't quite as interested in the game, but we still had fun!
Yay for Spring and warmer weather!
This was a super sweet note all my boys left me on the bathroom mirror one night after I'd been out with some friends! Gosh, I love them!!! :)
Some of my boys sweet friends:
I've decided to break up my posts instead of including all of the last 9 months in one big post! :) Now, onto May 2012! :)
